Why DIDN'T the chicken cross the road........

So, the neighbors across the street have chickens that come out on the lawn everyday and Tye has been observing them for some time and finally got permission to pick one up. They DON'T cross the road and we figure they have super chicken sense that boys and a big dog live on the other side.

School's out and our legs were itchin' to go explore.

Jordan went to his first Klondike derby for Boy Scouts.

Josh joined band and started learning trumpet.

Gavin is trying to quit sucking his thumb.

And Tye (not pictured because he doesn't sit still enough)

is happy to bounce around the house with Lacey

and watch Wall-E for the 100th time.

A Star is Born

Jordan achieved the rank of Star Scout in Boy Scouts. He is now adept at setting fires (legal and otherwise), building snow caves, swimming, first aid (hopefully), using a compass and all other things boy scoutish.
