A little dirt never hurt, but hail does.

We went for a great ranger ride outside Zions. We also

decided to find a couple of geo caches. On the second

cache we had to cut our trip short when lightning and rain

headed our way. On our way to the cars we hit

hail. Hail at 30 mph hurts, and is cold, and is not fun.

Lacey (the dog) cried the whole way back. Even

after we covered her up. She was NOT impressed.

The kids shed their wet clothes and warmed up on

the sitting vehicles before we headed home dirty yet happy.

Happy Birthday Gavers.

Gavin is officially 8.

He is now a Cub Scout.

He can sit without a booster seat in the car.

He can get baptized.

He can multiply.

He can constantly amaze us with his sweetness and enthusiasm.
